I'm glad I have a place to record this stuff. . .

Our Halloween candy stash is finally dwindling down (I should have just thrown out most of it), and all that candy has made an impression on the kids.

I was asking Benjamin what his favorite candy is (I think it's funny that none of the boys seem to favor anything chocolate- but it works out just fine for me!) and he answered:
Skittles and Starbursters!

The other night I made chicken pillows for dinner and Charlie kept calling them Tootsie Rolls.

And Charlie still occasionally brings up the ward Halloween Party. This was the first year that Alex and Benjamin went through the spook alley, and I think Charlie felt left out. He has told me several times, "I have to go to the spooky alligator."

I love hearing funny things kids say. It's so cute!

One of my nieces used to call granola bars "gorilla bars" and one of my nephews used to call pants "paps". After that I would occasionally call them that, but Ben has banned me from calling pants "paps".

Hilarious! This sure is a fun age for funny phrases! Can't wait to take Spencer to the "Spooky Alligator!"
