bike day

Benjamin's class had bike day last week. They made license plates for each of their vehicles. This picture would be really cute if it was in focus.

Today is Charlie's birthday. We are planning on doing a real celebration in a few days, but we had to at least acknowledge it today with some strawberry pizza. Here he is in all his messy-faced, rosy-cheeked glory.

He kept saying "cheese" and smiling really big, but we couldn't get him to look at the camera.

a few thoughts

Instead of "hammer", Charlie says "hamburger".

Benjamin told me today how y and w are all mixed up, because a y should say the "w" sound.

I'm glad it's officially Spring. Not that I am complaining about winter (I'll take what little of it I can get here), but I'm ready to move past my first trimester blahs. I am hoping we can visit the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve sometime during the next few weeks. It should help.

I think the cat is pretty much out of the bag already

Number four should be arriving sometime around September 20th.

Old cell pics

I recently had to replace my cell phone (the old one broke after one too many throwings-on-the-floor by Charlie), and luckily I figured out how to get the pictures off of my old phone just in time.

One day I saw this rainbow when I was driving.

When Charlie was just a few months old we were in Target one day and he made this face for a long time. No, he wasn't working on a diaper.

And the snow ones are from about a year ago when we went to play in some California snow before it melted.
