Alex's first day of 2nd Grade:
Benjamin's first day of Kindergarten:
(All of the Kindergarten kids got to bring a stuffed animal on their first day.)
They were both pretty excited to start the school year, and I think they are happy with their teachers and their classes. The only complaint I have is the two drop offs and two pick ups each day (one pick up at 2:00 and one at 3:00). Whatever happened to buses?
And, I only got a little watery-eyed right after Benjamin walked into his classroom.

Good for them and for you! Love the fresh white socks. Keller still has a week to go.
The socks are kind of hard to miss, I guess. They both love to pull their socks way up for some reason.
super cuties! 2nd grade, what? insane.
why the 2 different pick-up and drop-off times? different schools? that would be a pain.
Same school. Benjamin has afternoon Kindergarten so I drop off Alex at 8:00, Ben at 11:30, and then the 1st and 2nd graders get out at 2:00 while afternoon K and 3-6th grades get out at 3:00. I'm trying to figure out who the appropriate person is to complain to.
Yay for school! Sorry about the drop-off's though. It's not even just the fact that you drop 'em off & pick 'em up...it's the waiting in the car amidst the traffic of other moms. Ugh. My deepest sympathies.
Love the pictures! That's cute that the kindergartners got to take a stuffed animal with them. At least next year you can drop them off together, but sounds like they'll still have different pick up times! What a pain!
So cute!! Chloe likes to pull her socks all of the way up like that too!! So sorry about having to go to the school 4 times!! Yuck! Thankfully, Hannah is in 3rd grade this year, so she and Chloe get out at the same time (Chloe is in afternoon K too).
